Oyo APC Disaster Worsens As Social Gathering Submits Two Lists To CECPC

The disaster rocking Oyo State chapter of All Progressives Congress (APC) has taken one other dimension as the 2 teams battling to manage the social gathering submitted two separate lists of state government to the nationwide secretariat of the social gathering.

DAILY POST remembers that the social gathering had on Saturday, October 30, 2021 had its state congress.

The congress, which produced commissioner for Lands and Housing, Mr. Ajiboye Omodewu as Chairman, was nevertheless boycotted by some chieftains of the social gathering.

The aggrieved members alleged that the delegates’ listing has been manipulated.

It was gathered that the delegates who had been despatched to the state from Abuja had submitted the listing of those that emerged on the congress held at Obafemi Awolowo Stadium, Oke Ado, Ibadan.

The listing has Ajiboye Omodewu as Chairman and Mrs Tinuade Adigun as lady chief.

Our correspondent nevertheless learnt on Wednesday that the second group led by the outgoing Chairman of the social gathering, Chief Akintola Oke had submitted one other listing to the nationwide secretariat of the social gathering.

It was gathered that Oke summited the listing to the nationwide secretariat of the social gathering this week.

The listing of the second group had Chief Abu Gbadamosi as Chairman and Mrs Omobola Odekunbi as lady chief.

Our correspondent gathered from members of the social gathering that the 2 lists have been submitted to the nationwide secretariat of the social gathering, regardless that the second group didn’t conduct any congress.

Our correspondent learnt that the nationwide secretariat of the social gathering is at the moment at crossroads over which listing is to recognise.
