JUST IN: INEC Declares Anambra Election “inconclusive”

JUST IN: INEC declares Anambra election “inconclusive”. Anambra Governorship election results and declaration of winner have been suspended by Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) pending the outcome of votes in Ihiala Local Government Area.

Tuesday, November 9, 2021, has been set as the date for the election in Ihiala Local Government Area. An initial crisis had caused the election to be postponed.
In the Anambra governorship election held on Saturday, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, is leading.
So far, the Independent National Electoral Commission has announced the results of 19 local governments in which the former Central Bank governor won 17 seats
