Police said Saturday that a Queens man has been arrested in connection with the horrific November attack on an aspiring Thai model at a Herald Square subway station.

According to the NYPD, Kevin Douglas, 40, was charged with second-degree robbery, third-degree robbery, and second-degree assault on Thursday. The address provided by police for Douglas was a Days Inn hotel near JFK International Airport.

Douglas, on the other hand, has been in jail since the Nov. 22 subway incident, having been arrested for another felony the same day as the assault, according to public records.

Bew Jirajariyawetch, 23, was waiting for a train home to Queens when he was attacked at 4:30 a.m. on the uptown D platform.

A man yanked her back several feet before throwing her to the ground and assaulting her, according to surveillance evidence. The mugger allegedly grabbed her private parts while she was down and escaped with her purse, according to police.

After the horrific mugging, Jirajariyawetch told The Post, “I’m just thankful I’m still alive.”

The young woman’s face was covered in purple bruises following the assault, with dried blood caked behind her nose and near her mouth.

The Thai immigrant had only recently arrived in New York to study English and pursue a career in fashion. She stated that the violent incident altered her perspective on the city since she witnessed “the other side.”

Jirajariyawetch expressed her relief on Saturday, saying she was delighted an arrest had been made.

Sources say he’s been arrested 44 times since 1997 and has been charged with narcotics, assault, criminal possession of a firearm, robbery, and criminal tampering.

According to accounts, he was detained 16 times in one day, on May 13, 2019. The reason for the sudden rush of arrests was unknown at the time.

On Thursday, he was arraigned in Manhattan Supreme Court on the new accusations, and Judge Curtis Farber set bail at $75,000. In this matter, his next court hearing is on April 11.
